As a believer, if indeed you are a believer, you will Never grow spiritually unless you understand how to recover the filling of the Holy Spirit after you sin. With that in mind, I am presenting this link which explains the means of recovery to fellowship with God. Sin doesn't cause you to lose your salvation, it merely puts you into a state of carnality where you are under the control of your sin nature, instead of under the control of the Holy Spirit. This is the very first thing a believer must know after he has been saved. Without understanding this, there can be No spiritual growth.

Doctrine of Rebound (http://jrcyouth.com/love.1htm - broken link)

The term 'Rebound' as applied to the sin recovery procedure, was coined by Robert B. Thieme. JR. who was the Pastor of Berachah Church in Houston Texas for over fifty years. He has since gone on to be with the Lord.

You're welcome. It is such a basic thing to know in the execution of the Christian way of life. And yet, how many Christians don't know to use it, and therefore never advance spiritually?

Mike thanks for posting the link. It hit right on with what I have been trying to say, with the Lord's help, in regard to Christians not losing their Salvation as a result of committing any sin. I will say this though. If anyone of us are commtting a sin, knowingly, willfully, and habitually (not feeling the tad bit of conviction or guilt), then that Christian has to ask himself WHY? Is he or she truly born into God's family, and is he or she truly allowing the Holy Spirit to control him or her. Many of the sins we, as christians, cling on to give us pleasure, and makes us feel good. Our flesh, mind, and heart is in constant battle with the Holy Spirit. That's why we have to will over our flesh, mind, and heart over to the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to help us grow sprirtually and by also studying and meditating on the Word of God to help strengthen us when temptation comes.
