Last year I began having very powerful open visions about a devastating famine coming to America. I also had a vision of a coming nuclear attack. I know others, even non-believers who have seen what I have seen in great detail in recurring dream visions. Is anyone else seeing these types of things?

Hi texasauthor1

Welcome to the forum! No, I haven't had any visions, but I know others have, and that the Bible says this will happen in the last days. There's been a few others on this forum that have had dreams and visions; maybe they will share with us.

Welcome to the forums.

To quote from your vid "I really felt like these prophetic words needed be to be put out because I think they're very encouraging",

You are obviously a very sweet Christian lady. The prophesies you read are basically the same kind of words I've heard for 32 years and my mother and grandmother before me related these same kinds of 'words'.

They are always about the soon coming move, almost here, about to happen, greatest in the history of the world, just around the corner. "I am about to" etc etc.

The good news is that this IS the greatest time on history.

The (possible) bad news is that these kinds of words are emotionally designed to keep people hoping that a really great thing is "just around the corner" and to fight off feelings of despair etc. (which is TOTALLY understandable by the way )

The good news is that many of us have learned is that a bird in the hand is worth 10 zillion in the bush.

We need to not be looking for the next big sensational thing, but find peace in the present. The love God has put in you and the people in your life God has given you to love (and be loved by) is all that matters. In fact I'm SURE that is what you are seeking to do in your vids and outreaches, I' just hoping to show you "a more excellent way".

I have concluded (FWIW) that we need to not be looking to these 'prophets' and "prophesies" for hope. Not to 'end time' sensationalism which is always promising something great in the future - but a grasping of the present kingdom which doesn't rely on such things to manifest.

Just something to think about (and not meant to be any kind of anti-encouragement ).

Be blessed! (now)
- Byron

As a matter of fact, I have. Nothing lately but I shared last year what my visions were:

Judgment on America....My Visions

Here's a thread I started before I posted the vision that had a poll with it:

Poll: Having Visions And What to do With Them?

Both of the threads got out of hand so I had them closed. Sharing dreams and visions is not an easy thing to do, especially here at C-D. But I would encourage you to do the same as I did and share your dream or vision because we are receiving them for a reason.

The vision I had of the world was one where the whole world was surrounded in bright white light. No war or famine or unjusts. Everyone loved each other. It was a vision I had while I was totally awake and aware of my surroundings. The angels showed me what the world will look like once we have total peace on earth.
We must bear the bad for the good to come to light. Don't take the world on your shoulders and most of all, love til it hurts and love some more. We only bring that which we think so keep your thoughts positive.

There is a guy who has had open visions for over 32 years, and it is said that every single one of them have came to pass (100% accuracy). He is a messianic jew (accepts Jesus as the messiah); IE: he's saved. He has quite a bit to say about what God says about our future, and a lot of it is not good. (from a worldly perspective)
Go to YouTube - Broadcast Yourself., and do a search for "Tom Deckard". Decide for yourself...

I have many dreams that are far out there... but I also had two visions that have stuck out in my mind. The visions are not dreams but moments when a wake that a movie was placed in front of me. The movie was not a motion picture but a series of quick snap shots. One was around 2002 or so, and in that quick frame movie I saw two homosexual men kissing on park bench in what looked like Los Angeles then corresponding to this snap shot I saw a US nuclear submarine rushing out of port as fast as it could do so. The final snap shot of that scene was the look of utter horror on the face of the submarine commander. The overall impression I got was that the submarine was leaving port because of some war that was taking place (and with the look of horror on the commander's face) it was probably a nuclear war. The other vision I had was a little different. It was more of an impression than a snap shot vision. The impression was given to me as I drove over the bridge from New Orleans to the West Bank about 4 months prior to Hurricane Katrina. It was a very sunny and peaceful Sunday morning and as I drove over the Bridge there was a song on the radio "

My impression that New Orleans would be destroyed and it left such an impression that I moved my family away from Slidell where I was living at the time. It turns out the home I was living in was completely destroyed by Katrina without a sliver of wood left.
