are bad dreams just bad dreams or do they come from somewhere else?

Think of your mind (brain) and body being interconnected as one large organism. When you dream it is basically your body "speaking" to you through your subconscious.

On a "paranormal" level (which I put in quotes because I think this is scientific) you can also pick up on external thoughts from the world around you.

There is nothing mystical or supernatural about any of it. Unexplainable, yes. But not supernatural.

Hmmm ... not sure about the body bit, I believe nightmares (and dreams) are just a by product of the brain doing its housekeeping related to short and long term memory, and also continuing to think about things that have happened and how it relates to memories.... nothing to do with demons

I don't doubt that both good and evil can influence our dreams. Some dreams I've had have been pretty ...detailed . They can have an effect. I couldn't say whether or not any dreams I've ever had actually came from the "other side" though. Whether or not they were influenced in any way. I've only had one encounter with such unexplained forces, but it was no dream. After that, I pretty much figured that my dreams are my own. Outside forces need not muck about with dreams should they wish to mess with me it would seem.

I ran it off in Christ's name, and it hasn't been back. Still, I pray each night that He will keep it that way. And I have Faith He will.

You apply whatever you see in trying to learn a new language. If I have a dream from God or a spirit or whatever, it generally teaches me something about scripture and that is all we are here for.


The bible is veiled, you have to learn a new language to read it.

I could fill this whole page with scripture about having to learn the language of the bible, water is not water and blood not blood.


If a spirit comes to teach, it just comes to teach, but not all spirits are good teachers, you have to test the spirits.
