I detect a very strong wishful-thinking element here. Interesting. Because it proves you folks are not really, truly, convinced of it. Absent your hoped-for end times, there's every possibility that there literally is no God. I mean, when that massive meteorite is looming in the night skies, and impact is sure and certain, but no great golden ship comes, and no heavenly angels, what will you all have to conclude then?
For literally millenia, Christians have foretold of this imminent event. It's a fund-raising staple of TV evangelism! I remember in the late '50s hearing our minister tell of the soon-to-come end times. OoooOooooooohh!
So far, nothing. That tired sales pitch is waning for sure, and ever more so as the decades and centuries pass uneventfully, and as knowledge replaces mythology.
Trust me, folks: you will all pass on without your hoped-for tribulations. No-one is coming to save you and also finish me off in a fire-storm. Let's be responsible and rational adults here, shall we, and take care of business like responsible adults, not frantically wishing that "dad" would come home and selectively spank some of us and then set it all straight!

And yes, there is a way (that is already provided) to escape the wrath to come. That is what not only Noah, but Lot had in common...a forewarning!
37. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
38. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;
39. and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.
40. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.
41. Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.
42. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
43. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.
44. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him.
Both escaped the judgment of God sent upon their generation. A way is provided for us today, if only the people will listen. For you!!! May God continue to bless you with knowledge, you're doing an excellent work!
