Pr 27:17 . Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Whether many realize it or not, disagreement or challenges to ones faith is good. Iron does not sharpen iron when you move two pieces of iron together in the same direction.

Iron is only sharpened by iron when you move one piece of iron at a different angle and direction to the other.

I want to give thanks to God for not allowing me to get complacent in my beliefs and to investigate challenges that come my way. It does sharpen me, it does cause me to reflect and study more than I might otherwise.

Praise God.

Great observation - it's used in many men's groups to show that strength is developed by facing resistance.

It's also a great exercise in learning patience and how to love those who may not be where I am (I may be behind or ahead - that's God's business).

Not only does Iron sharpen, it is the most common metal that affects magnetism. What would we do, where would we be without magnetic energy as used in iron...?
