Sometimes when I come here on the forums, all I see is division.

I wonder if I am supposed to even care that we are divided.

We are divided over what it takes to be saved:
We are divided over what happens to the lost souls after death:
We are divided over denominations and who is right and who is wrong:
We are divided over governments and which political affiliation we should follow:
We are divided over commandments as to which applies to the believer today:
We are divided over escatology and what is going to happen like the rapture and the second coming:

It is no wonder the devil has had his way with Christians. With as much division going on in the body, it has been easily conquered.

And oh yes, it has been conquered.

Out of government. Out of school. Out of the home. Out of the family. Out of the marriage. Out of child rearing. Out of the pastorial.

This truly is a Godless society, and sometimes I wonder if it isn't the Christian that is to blame.

Where is the unity? Where is the standards? Where is the Power of the Spirit? Where are the Anointed Preachers and Teachers? Where is the Honor parents deserve? Where is the love and honor that God demands?

What happened to our country? What happened to our faith collectively?

I am so saddened. It breaks my heart. Our God deserves more than we could ever give. Our King deserves everything, beginning with our absolute loyalty without submitting to another. Oh God, hear our prayers. Deliver us from this evil. I beseech you on behalf of the lost. I beseech you on behalf of the unborn children whom we have enslaved. I beseech you on behalf of the unborn child who was ripped out of the womb.

Oh Lord, hear our prayers. Unify us. Deliver us. Lead us.

HotInAZ, your a good person and all, but I am not sure if you're aware that Christianity has been divided, even from the very outset and will always be.

Really? Always will be? That is so sad.

I've never had anything against you Hot, I do not agree with you about everything. Honestly doesn't bother me.

What actually bothers you, that I don't agree with you? Should I come to your view, or should you come to mine, how is it you see this?

Hi Hot....It is very troubling to see us so divided. I agree with you!

Do you think if we all truly focussed on the number one commandment that there would be less division? I do. That is why Jesus told us it was so important and we seem to minimize it. We study scripture and dissect it but we need to focus on this commandment. I think it is the key to unity.

From a non-Christian point of view and no disrespect intended, why rely on your Christian God to step forward and help you out of the situation that you have created yourself and why blame all of the ills and misfortunes on your belief of Satan, you make excuses because some unseen and unknowing creation does not help you out of a bad situation and then you want to blame it on another unseen and unknowing creation, take responsibility for your own actions and be accountable to yourself. I believe you Christians have a saying, God helps those who help themselves, well, start helping yourself and don't rely on your God to help you.

It does make me sad and a lot of it is due to legalism. I've seen it happen so many times

Christianity isn't divided. Never has been, never will be.
