Just look at what Jesus says about the pharisee and the publican ...
Luke 18:9-14

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

So, no, I do not lie, intentionally...and the unintentional one's become fewer and farther in between!! Praise God!!

There is no such thing as an unintentional lie. We can all be mistaken, that is another matter. When we find out we are mistaken, we admit it, or THEN we can begin a lie.
You know you lie, and they are all intentional. that is why it is a lie in the first place.
This is the problem that comes with a doctrine that you see will damn yourself for lying, so now you have to find a way to say that your lies are of no effect.
What a Crock.
Thank Goodness these kinds of doctrines are false, or every human being is damned forever.

Is anyone familiar with Corrie Ten Boom? The movie "The Hiding Place" was about her family hiding Jews during the Holocaust. Her story inspired me to stand up for what is right and protect the innocent even at your own peril. She lied to the Nazi's... more than once. AFTER being 'born again.' She was tortured in the Nazi concentration camp and survived to tell her story. Her story would not have been told had she not lied to save others. Yet she lied, so no heaven for her Verna?

I do agree with you, there is no such thing as an unintentional lie! All lies are premeditated and we do know at that instant that we are choosing to do so, regardless if it is because of fear, rejection, whatever the case !!! A lie is a lie.....
