Well, God could just drop asteroids on the earth if he wanted to. God could kill any of us at any time he chose to. So what is the point? He's God. And just because people die from weather events is NOT proof that God is angry with anyone. It's too bad some people only see God as a wrathful being. The natural world is passing away, period, regardless of what we do or do not do.
I did for so many years. I still struggle.

Does the earth shifting around mean God is angry at somebody?

There are certainly plenty of scriptures that people can come up with to argue that. But then in the New Testament the bible says that 'Satan is the god of this world - blinding the minds of men' and that 'Satan goes about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour'. I think as long as we are afraid of death which all are appointed to (according to the bible), then we can remain subject to being controlled by fear mongers. But when we reach the place in the spirit where we are no longer clinging to this temporal life in this mortal body, we are no longer subject to the fear mongers among us. God never changes, but our perspective of things change (or certainly should) as we grow and as we continue on our journey. I do feel sorry for those who are controlled by fear and who also try to use fear to control others. However, the only power I have to deliver people from such bondage is by speaking the truth in the Spirit of love. Without being free in Christ - it is a very terrifying world - no doubt about that. I used to be in great bondage to all kinds of fear. And I'm not claiming to have "arrived" or be completely delivered - I do still fear pain and suffering. It's just that way mortals are. Jesus did not enjoy suffering. The servant is not greater than his master. Faith and hope are essential for walking in this world.

Peace -

"With God - nothing shall be called impossible"

As far as Frosty - yes, even though he may look all jolly and white and fluffy - you will die very quickly upon impact.

Well, some would say that 100lbs is 100lbs, but I'd rather be hit by the 100lb hailstone than the 100lb BS Just my personal preference

Better yet, just give me the mile wide asteroid so I never know what hit me.
