There are a number of reasons why, as we looked at. Things like control, power over others, and simply new revelations all contributed to the mass of confusion we see today.

But, for the sake of looking at the people themselves, let us push on further in. You know, those of us who love the Lord with all of our heart, and are pushing into His Holy Place to experience the absolute unity not unlike what the Son had with the Father. So why so difficult? And why is there not a unifying undertone to the religion we call Christianity?

I think somewhere deep within the mind, heart, flesh and soul, there lays a barrier which is hard to breach without His Goodness teaching us the Way.

I also believe there are some on CDC who have this. By their fruits you know them, and some are pretty evident. They show love in all they do, and they express the BEST qualities of the what it is we ALL would love to become. They have their own limitations, but it doesn't hinder them from seeking His Face. They realize that a relationship is far more valuable than religion.

But looking back at these barriers, we could also say they are layers which communicate with each other as long as they are IN the same layer when communicating.

For example, when we speak with our hearts showing the love of the Father expressed in our words and actions, the people who relate the best are those who ALSO express on the same layer.

And when we walk in the Spirit, it is the same way. Those to whom also walk in the Spirit communicate easily with one another, and the Son, because this is where He and the Father are found.

But when reaching the flesh we NEED to also be in the same layer. Reminds you of Paul, right? A Jew to the Jews. A Gentile to the Gentiles. He ate what they ate. ETC.

Basically, he was leading them to the next layer. Guiding them. Jesus did the same exact thing. He spoke in parables, because they could not understand the Spiritual side of the conversation, so He left it to ALL of us to seek out understanding, but ONLY when we entered into that particular layer where it applied. A Shepherd leading the flocks.

So being divided can be looked at as a bad thing. Or, on the other hand, just shows the complete lack of leadership to guide and bring us to the next layer and thereby bringing us closer to the Most Holy Place.

Thoughts?

Or did I go too philosophical on everyone?

I think we are having problems in those areas

Around the years 2000 in the country of Columbia there were four main churches in this city who fought each other and rejected each other for years, then the Lord Jesus through their ministries got them to stop repent and love each other,..... Then the walls in the Spirit broke and the Lord Jesus openned up a harvest of Soul unheard of this these days were masses of people were coming to go to church were they did not even know way...... Thousand where saved in these days and many ministries around the world where coming to help get these people saved through Jesus Spirit,,,,,,, BUT Many Ministries who planned to go to this harvest where told to stay away, or you will be turned away if you come because they did not want to love each other they just wanted to stop this getting together and quell the Spirit of Jesus from these going on of unity. and they where successful in stopping these foreign ministries from coming......So there is grace of God in unity and there is grace of God if you block thoughs who want to stop unity, and no grace for thoughs who divide and want dis-unity in these harvests of the Lord Why? ... because this is a work of Jesus and disunity is the works of the flesh or the devil, Believers are called not to be a judge of others, only to judge ourselves, Jesus is the Judge........

I would say the main reason for the many divisions in christianity is it cannot move away from the very thing that it became, an organization. Just like when things changed for the children of Israel after they got the king they demanded , so with the church when it became organized.

In many ways it looks and sounds like the real thing , but it isn't , the organization deceives itself as well as others by the claim "We believe the bible", and tries to force upon us what they think the bible is saying and condemns us if we reject it (the same spirit that Jesus told James and John they were of).

Why are we divided?

I think one thing we seem to forget is that we each have particular gifts that He gave us according to our personalities, and our abilities, etc. to draw others to Him through our words, deeds and actions..When we use our gifts to the fullest the light of God's love is a beacon that draws people.

Yet, as flesh and blood imperfect people some tend to do their best to extinguish a brother or sisters gift by their own arguments and self righteousness as to why all Christians should be "like me"..

In part, the divisions in "Churchianity" are made by God for the same reason He divided the people and confused their languages at The Tower of Babel. We've seen what happened in the latter days of the Inquisition under the Roman Church's authority. These kinds of "united rule," specially when religious, becomes a Juggernaught, trampling everthing underfoot and destroying everyone who gets in its way. God is merciful to us by keeping them divided. His people are already one by having drunk of the One Spirit; and, if mature enough, we perceive it. To those in Mystical Babyon it is all a confusion anyway.

Sometimes it may only appear that some are divided when they are not, others probably misunderstand what good opposition is.

As I have observed, most instruction using the phrase "iron sharpening iron" is characterized as two people in agreement supporting one another, but this is false.

Iron sharpening Iron is two people in opposition who see that as a strength to work towards the truth or a common goal.

For iron to sharpen iron two pieces of iron rub against each other in opposing directions, but are done so in such a way that each edge is made sharper rather than with an intent that one ruins the other.

For me, I am never in the word as much as I am when someone challenges what I think. However, most do not want a spiritual association with me, they wish for me to change to appear to be like they are.

I want people to consider more than what they are saying to find true freedom, rather than digging in to protect what they believe they already know.

I disagree with many people, but if someone thinks I am dividied when it comes to hoping for everyones spiritual well being and growth, that would be wrong. If you have found true spiritual freedom through what you believe, more power to you.

I will leave you with a passage from phillipians.

Phl 1:9 . And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment;
Phl 1:10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
Phl 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.
Phl 1:12 . But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things [which happened] unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;
Phl 1:13 So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other [places];
Phl 1:14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.
Phl 1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
Phl 1:16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
Phl 1:17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.
Phl 1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

I believe there's more of that than we realize. I've had discussions on the side with Verna (of all people ) where we both were blessed by simply glorifying Him. As I said to her, if we were all joined together without the walls of cyberspace, the spirit would seem much more joined.

Praising and worshiping together, the lines between UR, ET, Catholicism, etc. would at worst be blurred; if we really entered into His presence - we would simply return to where we started and should remain, at His feet together.

The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net. - Micah 7:2

*** This scripture does not speak well of men hunting men with nets, yet that is what religious people do all the time. ***
