Everyone who has studied the scriptures know that James the Brother of Jesus sat on the episcopal throne of the Church of the circumcision in Jerusalem, which was the very first Christian church.

So my point should be obvious, if 'Rbbi 1' is calling the original church of which James the brother of Jesus was the leader, "THE WAY" then he/she is correct, if not, then they are incorrect.

Sounds more like you’re trying to be contentious...The descendants of that first church in Jerusalem were the Ebionites, which the RCC effectively wiped out and called a heresy...

But the original followers of Jesus, who belonged to the original church of the circumcision in Jerusalem, were Circumcised Jews. The early Ebionites were the orthodox believers and leaders at Jerusalem, and it was the leaders of the original church of the circumcision in Jerusalem who tried to force the Gentile followers of Paul, to be circumcised.

Jesus Christ appointed Peter the head of his Church. (Matthew 16:13-19). All the early Christian churches started at roughly the same time as the Apostles migrated out to their respective areas. Since Peter was the Jesus appointed head of the Church, wherever he was, so was the Authority of the Church.

And on a side note, Since the head of the Church resided in Rome, you can't break away from yourself, but rather the Orthodox Church's did the breaking.

Ireneaus - Against Heresies - Book III, Chapter 3, Verse 2: (~185 AD)

2. Since, however, it would be very tedious, in such a volume as this, to reckon up the successions of all the Churches, we do put to confusion all those who, in whatever manner, whether by an evil self-pleasing, by vainglory, or by blindness and perverse opinion, assemble in unauthorized meetings; [we do this, I say,] by indicating that tradition derived from the apostles, of the very great, the very ancient, and universally known Church founded and organized at Rome by the two most glorious apostles, Peter and Paul; as also [by pointing out] the faith preached to men, which comes down to our time by means of the successions of the bishops. For it is a matter of necessity that every Church should agree with this Church, on account of its preeminent authority.

James the righteous, is the brother of Jesus, born from the same womb as was Joseph, and it was James who sat upon the episcopal throne of the church of the circumcision in Jerusalem, which was the very first congregation/church, who followed the teachings of Jesus.

If you disagree with this, then please provide biblical evidence to support your disbelief?

Matthew 16:13-19

13 When Jesus went into the region of Caesarea Philippi he asked his disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?"
14 They replied, "Some say John the Baptist, others Elijah, still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
16 Simon Peter said in reply, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God."
15 He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"
17 Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father.
18 And so I say to you, you are Peter (rock), and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it.
19 I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
