I would never buy a Chrysler Minivan. I would buy a Ford or GM or even a Toyota Van instead.

News, Chrysler Group is working on a plan to make the soccer-mom minivan more macho, turning it into something even dad wouldn't mind driving.

Chrysler is calling it the "man van"—a special version of its Dodge Grand Caravan—and it is expected to appear at dealerships and be available for orders within the next few months, according to several auto dealers briefed on the matter.

So...how does this work for VW? You know, the same VW that rebadged a Chyslrer minivan as the Routan and gave us those awful commercials with Brooke Shields in them!

Certainly, with VW doing its best to head straight for obscurity in the NA market once again, the marketing geniuses will have to kick into overdrive to make up forget that last ad campaign!

It's biggest problem is it's a Dodge.

Back in the 50s, Chrysler made feminine versions of their cars with feminine upholstery, and pink paint.

"manly" and "minivan" don't belong in the same sentence. especially not with that thing. They could attract more male customers, however, by adding several TV screens, lifetime subscription to satellite television (with a receiver in the van), a reclining chair, some miniguns on the front, and a horn that screams "**** YOU!"

mommy wagon >.<

No matter what they do to it, it's still a minivan

Why don't they just cut to the chase and call it a "Soccer-Mom Minivan" that a Man has to buy them.

Unless it goes fast, it has no chance to be interesting to men. Last of all a minivan made by Dodge.

To make it interesting to men they should give it AWD, a factory Yakima or Thule rack, at least 250 HP, and an extra inch or two of ground clearance.

In other words a SUV with sliding doors.
