Now im usually a Truck guy, I like my fords couldnt ask for more of a safe reliable truck then one with a blue oval on the front and tailgate, however for ****s and giggles i went and looked at a new Chrysler 200 and compared to what ive seen from the past Chrysler lineups, Theyre really trying to step up their game. This is a great looking and rated car. I suggest anyone looking for a small fuel efficient luxury car take a look at one. Is it enough to save Chrysler? certainly not. if they keep making models and taking steps towards vehicles like this it just may be, however i suggest fiat hurry it up with importing fiat models with the chrysler rebadge that will defanitly help them out greatly.
For ~$30k, you can get a Dodge Charger R/T with 370HP and RWD.
This video shows how Dodge/Chrysler has stepped up their game with the Charger. Chrysler has dumped all of their financed money into new products and design, it's sink or swim time. I think they are on the right track.

yes the new chargers are great however if you dont want a sports car, the 200 is a great new vehicle. I was actually reading on Chrysler and I guess daimler screwed them pretty badly, I think it said they had a 12 billion cash reserve they could of most likely used when the banks collapsed but apparently when daimler bought controlling share of chrysler they wasted the money on share in mitsubishi, freightliner and a few others.
I just did this on the webite, For a 2011 Chrysler 200 Limited Edition with all the luxury factors in place its only $28,651 thats damn cheap for a Chrysler.

I agree, I had to look for myself and fully-loaded...under $30K, not a bad deal if you ask me. The question is...will it sell? I'm not quite sold on the exterior design, it still screams Sebring to me!
Also priced a new 300C loaded for over $46K! Not so certain if the buyers looking to spend that sort of money are going to be looking at Chrysler as their first option...

Unfortunatly they need to get advertising down pact, the thing with Chrysler its a Luxury brand, meant to be a luxury brand their lineup is supposed to be classified as
Dodge (mainstream Brand)
Jeep (SUV/Crossover brand)
Chrysler (Luxury Brand)
But they dont classify it that way so alot of ppl think Chrysler is just a mainstream brand when infact its not. I like the 200 I think itll sell its fuel efficient as well which is a great thing. I hope this is a hit and they dont miss from now on.

My neighbor owns a Chrysler Sebring and I would absolutely not describe it as a luxury vehicle. My Kia Sorento is better appointed and has a better quality build.
The 200 base engine is the same engine as in my wife's 2007 Sebring. With a 4 speed auto, she averages 24mpg in the city. I read it gets better mpg with the new transmission. The Pentastar V6 gets much better performance than previous V6 engine. Problem with Chrysler/Dodge at this time is blatant badge engineering with it's large and midsize vehicles. The 300 and Charger are the same car based upon outdated Mercedes platform. The Sebring/200 and Avenger are the same car based upon the soon to disappear Mitsubisihi Galant platform. Though styling is different, they're still the same vehicle. The current 200 and restyled Avenger are just a stop-gap until the Chrysler/FIAT midsize car is ready for the road. Chrysler/Dodge needs a better mpg entry level vehicle which is more likely to come from FIAT with Chrysler/Dodge nose styling. Possibly a Lancia for Chrysler and FIAT to Dodge.

That old Sebring is NOT the same car. It'd be like saying your neingbor has a '98 Hyundai Accent, so the 2011 Hyundai Genesis sedan and coupe much be crap.
