It's the more "off road look" version, with rock rails and roof fog lights. If you are considering one, make sure it's 04 or newer, or manual, the 02 and 03 had a poor automatic transmission.
Our 02 cost $3,400 to rebuild at 90k miles. Also check for the many recalls to make sure they were done.

The Renegades also have flares with exposed "bolt" heads.
