I have an 08 Jeep Wrangler and love it. I would buy another Chrysler in a heartbeat, especially if they gave an additional 1K on top of the current discount and employee pricing. I'd love to dump our Toyota Sienna and get a new Jeep Commander.

If I was in the market I'd pick up a Pontiac G8 GXP without issue.

Absolutely buy a GM. Silverado, Tahoe, Corvette are great vehicles. I will consider the Corvette for a play car, actually.

I would certainly consider a CTS-V if I was in the market. The product is the only incentive I need, as it is now I'd probably buy a Ford.

A better past track record would change my mind. Ooops, there is not second chance to erase the fact that of the 5 GM trucks in the family, all have had fuel pumps take a dump around 140,000 mies and need AC compressor repairs to the tune of about $700 each for both repairs.
My old 94 Ranger and my current 03 F150 have been nowhere near that expensive to keep going.
Chrysler cars...no way. But, with the used market getting lousy, I may press my luck with a new Dodge truck when I graduate this winter. maybe.

we may consider one of the GM convertables ( if they are around yet ) next spring; but would only buy one if for the long term. The market has been hard on most all brands for resale, and I would assume that the domestics are going to take the hardest hit over next several years. Unfortunately they have had to mark things down so low to move the goods which is a benefit to the consumer now, but if that same consumer wants to unload the car in a few years the resale will be lower then it would have during a normal marketplace.

I wouldn't have bought a Chrysler BEFORE. GM, probably not at this time, even though I have had decent luck with them in the past.
