The Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza hotel at the Carew Tower is facing foreclosure, but is still open and accepting reservations. This comes after the office portion of the Carew Tower was sold back in August to a New York based investment company. The office portion of the Carew Tower had also faced foreclosure. https://www.fox19.com/2021/02/10/duk...carew-tower-2/

Certainly hope to see the observation deck on the 49th floor reopened, but made wheelchair accessible and have glass barriers installed to keep suicide jumpers from jumping off.

Yeah, that would be pretty sweet actually. Whoever buys is will hopefully be interested in being part of downtown's growth and understand this would still be a cool attraction. But we will see.

On top of this, card payments should be accepted as part of the reopened observation deck and there should be a general admission fee of about $15 for adults. Discounts should be avaliable for senior citizens, children, active military personnel, students, and local Cincinnati area residents.

Yeah, that makes sense to have it sustain itself. Well, not only that, but many times free will actually cheapen a concept.

Card payments being accepted, along with a 15 US Dollar general admission fee, making the deck wheelchair accessible, installing glass barriers to keep suicide jumpers from getting off, and having some form of Instagram attraction type features would make this a real Cincinnati tourist attraction.

The new Prudential Tower will be a real experience with more than just a view and the same is said about the Vue Orleans at 2 Canal Street in New Orleans, One World Trade Center in New York City, Summit One Vanderbilt in New York City, and The Edge at Hudson Yards in New York City. Buildings with existing observation decks that were upgraded to include actual experiences include the Empire State Building in New York City, Sears Tower in Chicago, John Hancock Center in Chicago, and the Columbia Center in Seattle.

I don't think that I ever heard of a jumper from the observation deck in 70 years

I remember someone either fell or jumped out a window years ago
