I left Cincinnati after the blizzard of 1978. About that time it was also -25. This was before anyone heard of global warming.

I will believe in global warming when costal houses are underwater.

We had global warming. Chicago used to be under 1500 feet of ice. It was a good thing.

Nice pic Wilson. But then I'd also dig the same pic if you took it during one of our recent snowfalls. Great time of year! I will say the single digits and teens can be wicked, but when I went out for work at quarter til 8 and it was 30 degrees, felt great.

Default The White Death

And the god of white death said "behold I will visit thee on Christmas eve and deliver unto thee three to four inches of whiteness."

But the people were sorely frightened and made offerings to the almighty spirit. They went to the store, bought bread and milk and the god of the white death was appeased and did not visit us them that day.

Then verily on Christmas Day, the stores were shuttered; the people could not buy bread and milk that day. And the god of the white death unleashed his wrath on to them the next day.

Praise to you oh god of the white death.
