Look at the dates. Most of this is at least 10 years old. Do you actually think these are current viable projects? One of the problems with the internet, stuff stays out there forever.

This is actually still alive, the enquirer reported on it a few months ago. I can't find the enquirer articles, but there was an editorial posted on Urban Cincy stating that in late July the city council voted for TIGER II Grants to fund it:

Boy you sure read differently than I do. The article said the City council voted against accepting the Tiger II grant money. And even if they would have been in the affirmative they would have had to receive 2/3 of the national allotment of Tiger II money. Why is it so difficult to read what is in black and white?

I'm sorry, I literally just skimmed the article, remembering that there was still discussion going on about this project. I'll read closer next time before posting.

Hope it's more successful in completion than the Cincinnati subway. I'm new to this forum, and I don't know if it's already been mentioned in another thread before. I lived in Cincy for years and never heard of the Cincinnati subway. If you're not familiar with the history of the subway, read (and weep) the entry on "Cincinnati Subway" in Wikipedia (or do a search on your search engine).

I did and googled to get several articles on the Oasis Commuter Rail Study, the current phase scheduled to be completed in 2012. Yes there is a project study, after all the involved state and local bureaucrat engineers must have something to do for their jobs. But a study is still a long way from construction as there is still no money appropriated for that. I expect that is where the rub may come in.
