Do anyone know where can I buy it fresh? I remember Newberrys downtown made it fresh back in the day. Any stories or suggestions.

That would be found at The Fawn. One of a kind store bridging the east and west sides (Harrison Ave. and Hyde Park if you can believe it). Try the caramel covered marshmellows also, their best item.

Wow, that sounds really sweet. Whipped gelatin, sugar, and corn syrup blobs covered with more sugar. I'll have to try them sometime!

These things are seriously delicious. Fawn has the best caramel there is. I cut them in half to enjoy the experience twice from each marshmellow. They aren't cheap.

I love caramel and I love marshmallows, so I'd probably pay the price to try them. Thanks for the suggestion.

I remember years ago when flight crews from planes just making a stop at CVG would deplane and go into the terminal to buy popcorn at a stand. I don't believe they offered caramel, but I remember overhearing the flight crews saying it was the best popcorn available anywhere in their system. As I remember this is long enough ago the stand was located between the two original terminals. I would stop on a return home from a business trip and buy popcorn. It was fantastic, maybe due to the fact they sold so much it was always fresh.

There is a vendor at Findlay market on weekends that has kettle corn.

This is a link to them:

Merchants / Product Listings | Findlay Market of Cincinnati, Ohio

A lot of the better produce is sold early Saturday morning. However if you go on a Sunday there is also a vendor with a wood fired brick oven on a trailer that turns out pretty good Pizza.

Speaking of Findlay Market, the Vietnamese place across from the market building has a pretty awesome Banh Mi pork sandwich. Get it with the works. Its amazing.

EDIT
That would be Pho Lang Thang

I actually had lunch there this past Saturday for the first time. I have to admit that I was somewhat skeptical and timid at first, after looking at the menu. But the food was outstanding and the flavors were definitely different. We definitely loved our lunch and will go back, without a doubt.

Pho Lang Thang - highly recommend it
