Hey everybody,

What are some of the main attractions of Cincy as it relates to live music, performing and visual arts, jazz clubs, etc? What are some of these places that you want non - Cincinnatians to know about?

Thanks!

Performing arts. Tony Winning Home - Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati - Home I's say the Aronoff, but it's presentations (with few exceptions) have become very stale

Thanks. I don't mean "clubs." I mean places where there is live music, especially jazz.
Blue Wisp. Anywhere else?

Thanks.

One thing I really miss that was a huge event WAS Tall Stacks. A number of live music events on the river, along with all the riverboats and other associated entertainment. I believe the last Tall Stacks was in 2006. I would think it could be even better with the arrival of The Banks. There have been several announcements for plans for the next one but it always seems to be "wait until next year." Now I think it's suppose to be in 2015. We'll see.

Sorry for a little digression, but I was just thinking about Tall Stacks last night, for some reason.

Two of my favorite art places are The Contemporary Art Center on 4th Street and the Final Friday gallery walk that happens the last Friday of every month in Pendelton/OTR. The Pendleton Art Center Cincinnati, OH
