Does anyone know? It seems like there's no construction activity at all. I only see a couple of year old articles saying that the building is in one of the hottest locations and construction is due to start up again any time.

First of all, it has been renamed Kenwood Collection. Just today, Sak's said they will be relocating their store there.

I guess I was asking about the unfinished tower. I thought the mall proper was called kenwood town center. Apparently as I was corrected in an earlier post the unfinished tower is now renamed the kenwood collection. What's weird is I just looked up an article dated sept 26 2013 saying that construction had started; however, I drive by the area every day, and I don't see any activity. Just curious as to what's going on .

Why there is not more work going on to finish the steelwork of the tower, put in the floors, and construct the exterior walls I have no idea. Maybe there are still some uncomplete legal entanglements holding it up? Does anyone have an idea?

It does seem odd as you'd want to get a secured envelope asap. I seem to remember the new owner /developer talking about how you'll be seeing a new crane up shortly and this was a few months ago. I'd assume there letter of intent from saks opens up some previously unavailable financing.
