Pontiac Bourbon & BBQ is set to open in mid-January on Vine St. in OTR (that's "Over-the-Rhine" to you, goy .... ). Can't wait to see Daniel Wright's take on bbq ribs, brisket .....

What terrible news, that was my favorite BBQ joint in Cincinnati and the first restaurant I ate at when I moved here 5 years ago.

When I first moved to Madisonville, BBQ Revue was at the corner of Madison and Glenshade; it didn't always have regular hours, so you know it was open when the big pig was wheeled out to the corner.

I wonder how this might affect the Cincinnati Dinner Train. They boarded at BBQ Revue and I believe used the kitchen. I was thinking about trying their Riverfest fireworks excursion this year.

According to the newspaper today, the Cincinnati Dinner Train is still on.
