Hamilton would be a very good option. Here are a few of my favorite spots there:

I will say it's an up and coming young professional area, so don't expect a ton there now, but 5-10 years it'll probably be a lot better. Everything at the moment is working in downtown Hamilton's favor.


Also, yes, you'll have a mix of nicer and older (as in not good older) apartments. I'd highly recommend the Mercantile lofts, but there are probably other good places too.

I am in the same situation as you. I will be graduating in June and may accept an offer for a job in Fairfield, Ohio. Now that you have lived there, what is your take on the area. What areas do you recommend?

I am in a similar situation and have a job offer in Fairfield. What have you found to be the best areas to live? I am a 23 year old male. I enjoy sports, music, etc. I am looking for a condo/apartment in a good area...safe neighborhood, convenience and around a 20 minute commute. Thanks in advance.
