Wanted to give the exclusive to my hometown homies here that I've just been notified of having won the bimonthly "Most Engaging Poster" contest on City-Data!!! I think this is the first time (the Jan-Feb '15 edition being the thirteenth contest) someone originally from Cincinnati OR somebody living in Massachusetts can claim the honor. Since the risk of robbery or homicide is non-existent - I'll be hauling in $500 "before taxes" - I thought I'd go ahead & brag ahead of the official announcement. C-D's parent company will need to have all the info they've requested from the nine other winners before our screen names will hit the forum home page. So it may be a few days before you see "goyguy" in lights.

I promise to not go on stage to accept the giant replica check in my underwear. No guarantees about keeping my acceptance speech under five minutes, though.

Wing nuts and suburbanites and Crossfitters and bigots and dog people and mega-church-goers and hipsters and all y'all haters can kizz ma azz. (Besides, you're human too and I'm sure plenty of folks from your ranks have copped the same five c's. Even this time. And it takes all kinds to make a world - not to mention an "engaging poster." There's no way I could've done this without you guys.)

Time to do the Ickey Shuffle down the icy sidewalk outside.

One such individual (from Pittsburgh) once called me a troll because I mentioned the Dayton International Festival....

All groups can get all kinds.

Speak softly and congratulations.

You need to respect artistry and give that $500 to Beyoncé.
