Does anybody know of a rural town within 20 minute drive of sharonville? Preferably not involving highways. We LOVE morgan twp in butler county but it would be too far of a drive to my husbands work in sharonville. Currently not loving being 6 feet from our neighbors. Would love to have some land and have our rooster outside and some goats and no neighbors to complain! Let me know if you can think of any such areas

Hmmm...I'd look in northern Clermont County. Places like Goshen Twp or Miami Twp. Probably about 20 mins to Sharonville.

Townships around Lebanon... (Between Mason and Lebanon)

If you're going straight down 42, it'd be about 20 minutes to Sharonville... Of course, depends "where" exactly.

What about towards Hamilton? Though weirdly, Hamilton takes forever to commute to anywhere (or at least it seems that way)....

There's still a decent amount of open land North of I-275, so I'd think you should be able to find SOMETHING. Obviously, depends on how strict you are on the 20 minute commute as well..

Not sure if it falls into the 20 minute range but looking at Green Township, White Oak and many Westside Hamilton County areas have close proximity to I-275 and have quite a bit of land for not a lot of money.

I'll second northern Clermont County, or Warren County immediately north of Clermont County - Hamilton or Harlan townships.

OP, you will not find a rural town within 20 minutes of Sharonville. Unless you have $1 mil+ and can afford Indian Hill.

To be honest, most all of the places recommended do not meet your criteria. They are too populated, and have too many local regulations.

I'd advise you to move west, not east, if you're planning on staying for longer than 5 years and are interested in your municipality retaining its rural heritage. If you like Morgan Township, I would just go ahead and move there, it will be about as close as you can get given your requirements. Rt 4 is not a horrible drive, and it leads nicely to roads like OH 129 to get you back into the township.

Good luck!
