Greetings, all!

Two questions:

1. Best credit union in town--requirements being free checking, quite a few branches throughout the metro area, and you don't have to be an employee of one specific company to join. Bonus points for military benefits.

2. What are the main internet providers? We don't have an address yet, so I don't know what we'll even have access to, but if we're gonna be stuck with Time Warner again, I want to arrange for our account to just move over, in case it'll save us anything on installation fees. We use a landline (might drop it, but prefer to keep) and basic internet, no cable or satellite (we roku). Wondering if Google internet is in the city yet?

Thanks!

Kemba CU is big up here in WC. Don't know much about them, but I know they have several "membership drives" and many people at our company signed up with them when we started up.

Time Warner, Century Link, and Cincinnati Bell are some of the major internet providers. No, there is no Google internet here (I WISH!) Cincinnati Bell has "FIOS" which has worked well for some (we had issues). I think there's a whole thread on that. I'm not sure if that's only available in some parts of the city, but I know up in the hinterlands where I live (Lebanon) it was available.

Wright-Patt Credit Union might be a good one to look into. They are VERY big in Dayton.

They don't have a ton of Cincinnati locations, but one of the locations they do have is right by NIOSH in Norwood. And the military benefits they offer are hard to beat. Here's a link:
Wright-Patt Credit Union|Low Rate Auto Loans, Home Loans, Credit Cards

Othersie I can't add much to Briolat21's comments on internet. I use Time Warner and it's ok, but I don't have much of a choice.

Good luck!
