Found a home in Beckett Ridge area that I love... any thoughts on this area?
I mean I've read the info listed with the house but I'd like to hear from some Cincinnati residents. What is this area like?

Is that in WestChester? Sounds like a neighborhood someone I know lives in in WestChester.

If so, then WestChester is a growing suburb. It splits I-75, with the older more "charming" part on the E. of I-75 and the newer more "sprawly" part W. of I-75.

The school system is highly rated, and the HS band this year marched in the Rose Parade.

There's a lot of development going on in the Union Center corridor right off I-75, and IKEA is going in, and there are a number of chain and local restaurants. A lot of big box shopping off of tylersville Road.

Maybe a 25 minute commute into the city (cincinnati, downtown) when traffic is good.

If the community you ask is not in WestChester, then disregard what I said!

It is in West Chester. Typical suburb near a golf club. Nothing special.

I've lived in this area for 27 years . . .
Beckett Ridge itself is very nice. THUMBS UP!
HOWEVER, there is a subdivision very near there that likes to call itself "Beckett Ridge", that's not. It's known for thugs and drug dealers. Right off of Smith Road.

Default Beckett Ridge

I live North of Beckett Ridge in Liberty Twp. Beckett Ridge is a VERY nice area. The comment above is referring to one apartment complex - it is not known for drugs and thugs. Just lower income which is a rent around $800 a month. Lower income does not equal bad area. In fact, there are $350,000 homes right behind that complex. The majority of West Chester (where Beckett Ridge is located) is upper middle class.
Another point of clarification - West Chester and Liberty Twp share the Lakota School district which is rated Excellent in Ohio. The district is subdivided into two attendance zones: Lakota East and Lakota West. Beckett Ridge falls in the West district which boasts a band that just marched in the Rose Parade and a High School Girls basketball team that is ranked #1 in the state of Ohio and #22 in the country. Hope this helps.

Traffic is terrible during rush hour. Getting to and from 75 takes forever. Nice area other than the traffic.
