All Cincinnati Metro bus benches are getting taking away with no replacements in line. The excuse is they are illegal with no shelter but the real reason many suspect is Cranley's administration is doing this is that is that he has no empathy or concern for bus riders whom the majority are poor, elderly, minorities and disabled.

I take it you dont get around much? MOST have recently been rebuilt and have shelter.

Also " most" are NOT Poor, elderly, minorities and disabled. There are regular people riding it to WORK.

so if you read, its to remove ILLEGAL benches, not just to pull them up and give no one a place to sit- big difference.

The problem with the benches is that bums sleep on them; the pedestrian addicts shoot up on them.

That is the problem.

New benches should have a partition so people can't lie down. All around OTR the benches have food wrappers, urine bottles, empty liquor bottles, and even syringes.
