Shwanoe, These are really good pictures, and your mother really does seem familar, Ronnie said so too. Did she used to wear her hair up? I know we all look forward to your new and older pictures. If anyone wants the articles I got , just send me a direct message with your email address. There are 3 articles on each sent and there are 6 total to send, some pictures are dark but I found that when enlarged the print and all are better to read.

NightBazaar, What about that street sign?? It would be nice to have that enlarged and have it matted and framed, just the green part with the number. Its good to see us back on the board again , hopefully some of the others will get back on. Hyden

I remember Louie. He was a short balding man. I would buy popsicles. The ice cream truck was fun too especially in the summer evenings. I lived on Eastwood Drive in one of the bottom floor apartments.

I just happened on this today looking up information about the Eastwood area. I have really enjoyed the stories. They are all fond memories I have had growing up in the late 60's.

I think our address was 5382 Eastwood Drive. There was an alley to the right of the apartment and out the back door opened to an open courtyard to the back of all the apartment complexes shared. I moved there I think in 1966 I was in 3rd grade with Mrs. Smith. I think K-3 were in classrooms behind the main building.

I saw my sister's class on page 33 with Mrs. Smith's class. She was two years behind me.

My mom might have some class pictures. We talked this morning and she is going to view the threads. We talked about the nursery there that my sister and I attended for some time. My mom was a nurse so we would go there maybe after school or before I can't recall. I have also sent the link to my sister so she can read it also.
