If Dobee was born in 1956, and she looks to be about 4 in the photo, then the photo could be from around summer 1960.

Well, you might never know the exact date, but you can probably narrow it down. Judging from the kind of clothes, it's a pretty good guess that the photo was taken sometime during the summer. A couple of the cars (not the older ones) in the photo look like they're models from the latter-60s. And again, if: (1) Dobee was born in 1956 and, (2) if she was about 4 years old in the photo, then it's a fair guess that the photo might be summer of 1960 (which is 4 years after she was born).

But Ronnie might have a better idea about it.

shoesx - What a beautiful way to describe your memories. Spot on! I feel the same way too about those years so long ago.
Everyone - This morning my dad passed on. It was expected. He was sick for a long time. My sister in Texas and I in Mississippi knew this day was coming and managed to get in a visit with him in Michigan two weeks ago. He was having some good days while we were there but it didn't last. I think he was just hanging on until we got there. I'm flying up to MI tomorrow for the funeral on Monday.

David, I want you to know that I and I'm sure others on this thread feel the same way are very sorry for your loss. I lost my Mother in 86 and Father in 97, at times it feels like yesterday because I think of them daily.

I hope you feel the comfort sent to you by God while those of us here will be praying for you and your family.

On behalf of all of us on here I give you our most Sincere Condolecies,

Betty Hyden

David, even though such a loss might be expected, it's still still difficult to lose a loved one. I lost my mother a number of years ago, and my father this last April. Both were quite elderly. Our thoughts are with you to try to help provide comfort to you and your family.

David, very sorry about your loss. I lost my mother two years ago. She was not only as good a mother as anyone could hope for she was my best friend. I miss her terribly, but I'm thankful I had her for as long as I did.

My prayers are with you and your family.
