Hi!!!

We are moving to Cincinnati! I have a daughter who is 9 and has special needs. We are looking at lakota school district. Typically her needs are, sensory and social anxiety. She is not autistic but has a lot of the same characteristics. What she has currently is a small class setting but with behavior kids, kids who yell and swear and throw things, as this is all our state has for a small class setting. I am curious if lakota is our best bet for special education for her. What I would like to see is a small class setting, with a teacher who has extra training in special education. My husband will be working at xetron and we would like to be within 15 minutes of that.

Thanks

I had some experience interacting with Mason’s special education in the lower grades and I was highly impressed by their special education programs. Mason is viewed as a highly desirable district and the town has many nice amenities.

You should be aware that it is an ENORMOUS district (largest high school in the state? Not verified just something I heard) with a significant amount of kids moving in and out for corporate moves.
