We have trained our dog off leash. We have found a few places to walk him this way but looking for more particularly in the West Chester/Liberty Towship/Mason areas. We are not looking for a dog park, rather parks or nature preserves where is is acceptable for a dog to be off leash. Any suggestions? TIA!

I'm not sure about areas you listed but if you're willing to do the drive Amberley Green in Amberley Village allows dogs to be off the leash. You have to go to the Amberley City Hall to get a free parking pass first.

Not sure about what really would have that around West Chester, Liberty or Mason... Most open places are neighborhood parks, golf courses, strip malls or farm fields (what's left of them at least )

All metro parks are off the table as they require leashes to a maximum of 6 feet unless in a dog park. State Parks are the same way likely though I could not readily find info on Cowan or Ceasar Creek. Hamilton County require 6 foot or less leash on pets. I would assume Butler and Warren County parks are the same.

Even Glen Helen Nature Preserve in Yellow Springs requires a leash of 6 feet or less. The only exception to 6 feet I have seen is Greene County Parks 8 feet, but a leash is still required.
