I am orginally from Cincinnati and lived there most of my life and always had some pretty good jobs there. I moved to Florida for six years and now am in Washington State. I hate it here. I want to go back to Florida but the job situation isn't very good there (which is why I moved out to Washington State). How is the job situation in Cincinnati? Would it be worth coming back there? I have always said that I have never held a decent job since I left Cincinnati. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Define "job," then we can start chiming in.

Opportunities for Foreclosure Attorneys seem to be on the upswing.

Smile Jobs in Cincy?

Hi - I would like to also ask that question myself, as I have seriously considered Cincy for a new start in several things - I am currently in Orlando, Florida, and while having lived elsewhere here and there for short periods, this is my hometown.

That said, I have an MBA, and my background primarily has been in the marketing/sales/communications arena, and Cincy overwhelmingly has had more job opps to apply for recently, with my credentials, than the other cities I have been considering: Charleston, WV, Atlanta, GA, Knoxville, TN, and possibly Winston-Salem, NC., but remain at quite a loss since I do not currently live in those areas, and fear that recruiters see my Florida address and toss my resume thinking I will require "special assistance" of some sort. I put on my cover letter that I am already considering relocation, but still fear that there will be that bias - any help would be appreciated folks - thank you so much!

The transportation logistics business is kickin here in Cincinnati. You can find plenty of good jobs in every aspect of truck brokerage/planning, rail coordination, pricing, payables or management in many third party companies. Not sure if you know anything about that stuff, but I thought I'd throw it out there for those who do and stumble upon this thread...
