Can anyone familair with the Vine Street/Corryville area tell me if two old hangouts are still around?

Both on the same side of Vine Street - Sudsy Malone's was 2626 Vine, and Submarine Galley was closer to the Kroger.

Wikipedia mentioned Sudsy's had opened and closed several times, and the latest Citysearch review of Sub Galley was several years old.

Any help appreciated!

Sudsy's was fun, but my clean laundry always smelled like smoke and stale beer ...

Top Cat's was up Short Vine a block or two, and on the other side of the street from Bogart's.

And yeah ... Dollar Bill's was a favorite hangout of mine in the early 80s. Another place I went to frequently was InCahoots -- that place was a nine days' wonder, for sure -- Bogart's, Daniel's, Zino's in the old Corryville firehouse, Scentiments ... But not the Cupboard! LOL

I can see some developer like Tom Humes with UC's blessing wanting to mow all that down and build some generic "community". Bleah. With much higher rents, natch.

I remember Hot Shotz. What band were you in?

Thanks for resurrecting this thread -- I didn't remember half of the stuff I remembered. Or something like that.
