goyguy...thanks for the tidbits of info...we will eventually explore the areas you mentioned. Any chance the economy/overseas manufacturing will reverse soon..so you can live where you choose and do not have to make such a severe compromise? That was rhetorical. Thanks again.

BJ Lundy, It seems like yesterday that me and a couple girlfriends could walk through Eastwood Circle ,catch a bus and go downtown to shop some to spend some babysitting money and just have fun. Then walk back to fountain square and catch the bus back to Eastwood Circle and walk home. That was over 40 years ago, but it doesn't seem like it sometimes. When it was just me and Mom we would always stop at the Wiggins Restuant there at fountain square ,I would usually get a pop and she would get coffee. OH GOOD MEMORIES I wish my daughters could have enjoyed something like that. Hyden

I used to live downtown in Cincinnati back in the 80's. We lived right across from what then was called shillito's . I remember the holiday season down there and how it seemed so magical. Walking to see the train setup at Cincinnati Bell or was it C.G.E building? It has been so long ago for me. Back then the sky walk had open stores then. it was great to be able to walk around downtown and never touch ground unless I went into a store. Such memories take me back.
