I'm very proud that Ham Co was able to elect a minority. It actually makes me proud to live here. Chabot? What good has he done? He needs to get a new car. Anyways, this post doesnt belong here - get this political crap in the correct forum.

Well, excuse me for trying to start a conversation about the interesting turn of events in Hamilton County, which very much does belong in the Cincinnati forum.

Perhaps you should put the nonsensical bit about Chabot's car in the automotive forum. And then you can go to your dictionary and look up the word "sarcasm."

It seems we are not a state full of plumbers after all.

Their campaign really missed the mark and became increasingly painful to watch towards the end. Was it just me, or did McCain sound like a disingenuous a-hole in his concession speech? He seemed to grumble something that made it seem like this was only a victory for African Americans. I can't remember exactly what he said but it made both my wife and I look at each other in disbelief.

I didn't hear it all, and was half asleep to boot; the only part I heard was him shushing the people who were booing the president-elect, and saying that the entire country needs to come together.

Time will tell if McCain will put his money where his mouth is on that issue.

I'll have to find the full text of his speech. (like I'm not not-working enough the way it is ... )

I can't beleive Schmidt got re-elected. What the heck? Thought for sure Krikorian would make it and we wouldn't have to be repeatedly embarassed by her actions.

We have a friend of a friend that passes her jogging on the way to work each morning and says she's more or less in the roadway. Don't play with fire unless you want to be burned. Wonder if she has the stunning severe bun hairdo for her runs?
