The title explains it, but it has to be a city around 100,000 people or above. Here in KS, its probably Olathe.

right now? San Jose... pretty pathetic for a city over 1million, Oakland with 1/2 the pop has a better one.

Isn't San Jose's nearly the same size as Phoenix? I have been to both, Phoenix just feels a little tiny bit bigger.

I think they would be equivalent if you look at their population and then their skyline.

Phoenix- 1.5 million and then look at the skyline- that skyline doesn't yell "we're America's 5th largest city".

San Jose- 1 million- apply the same routine as my Phoenix exception.

San Antonio- also a pretty weak skyline for a top 10 population city...

These are just my opinions, their skylines are no measure of the great qualities these cities can have.

They're going to close this thread, but ill answer anyway. In New York, the worst skyline is probably Albany. Its just simply ugly in design.

The reason San Jose has such a crappy skyline for a city of 1 million is because the airport is right across the freeway from downtown. So because of airport regulations SJ can't have super tall buildings. I mean airplanes are taking their descend into the airport right over downtown. I went to San Jose State and it's pretty annoying to have massive airplanes flying over downtown every 5 min.
