Yeah, SC only has itself to blame. I thought it odd that coach Carrol left so abruptly to coach the Seahawks; now we know that he was aware of the NCAA investigation. Frankly the athletic director of USC should resign as the local press\ media have suggested.

You should have compared it to the Sugar Bowl.
I really can't see any college football thing beat the Rose Bowl.

The Sugar Bowl isn't a stadium.

The Cotton Bowl is no slouch, but the Rose Bowl just has all that beautiful natural scenery surrounding it, it's amazing. Plus if it came down to the Longhorns vs. the Trojans I'm going to have to go with USC .

Oh I so disagree with this. The ND fanbase is national and they still have the most national titles in history. They still have are the 3rd winningest program of all time. They have sat the bar for most programs in the nation. Back to it's fanbase. With the large Catholic population throughout the nation and how they have been THE college football team for the past 80 years, there weight goes far beyond Nebraska and Kansas. That's why they are on NBC and no other program is not.
