Well I don't think Salt Lake City has a global status (Winter Olympics). San Diego is totally equipped with the olympic training center, the weather, etc
True, but Summer Olympics are a much grander scale than Winter Olympics. Squaw Valley, CA held the Winter games once, and that is hardly a city.
Toure - I've noted you typically give the same one word answer to every post: Philadelphia. As a Philadelphia resident, I also like the city very much. I do not, however, believe it is the best city for every thread. In the future, it would be helpful if you'd elaborate a bit on why you think Philly is the choice city for the topic at hand. This would allow me (and perhaps others) to weigh your opinions more seriously.

Well let me elaborate. I believe Philadelphia would be great for the Olympics because, Philadelphia is almost always overlooked by its Neighbor NYC. This would let the world know that Philly is more then just a city next to NYC, but a world class destination.

well in that case maybe they should get the winter Olympics too
I hope they don't bid again but Chicago and NYC, to me, would be the obvious choices.
