just climate? I'd say Denver overall ...sunnier, drier. The only thing I think Chicago would win is the fall colors.

Denver in a landslide: cooler summers, more pleasant winters and plenty of snow but it doesn't stick around for months. Everyone loves snowfalls but nobody likes what it looks like 48 hours later. In Denver, it's usually gone. And if you want year-round snow, you're just minutes away from that.

It depends on how much it snows. For example, it just snowed about a foot last night in Denver, and it doesn't look like its going away anytime soon. Some school districts even canceled school!

Better climate? Thats like asking if you would rather make love to a donkey or a goat.

But it would have to be Denver. Wonderful cities, but the weather in both places is awful!

I have lived in both and like Denver over Chicago in every way. The snow in Chicago gets dirty brown and with the rusty metal L tracks , its ICK. In Denver you have Aspens really close by. In Chicago you have trees with bugs eating them away. In Chicago you have awful humidity in summer. In Denver you can escape to the mountains where there's Cripple Creek and cool breezes. In winter, there is no comparison. You can't ski in Chicago.

correct me if I am wrong but didn't Denver get snow in late May or early June? I am sorry but I prefer snow to be long gone by that time of year which is the case in Chicago
