The AFC East. I'm a Dolphins fan, therefor I reserve the right to punch, scold, and degrade, any Patriots, and or Jets, fans, players, or coaches. I hate Bill Belechick, BUT I think I hate Rex Ryan more. At least Bill doesn't talk crap. As for the Buffalo Bills, well, they SUCK to much for them to be on our Dolphin minds. They almost don't exist.

I've been to Qualcomm during a Raider game, It's more than obvious those fans despise eachother, between a Raider fan getting his head split with a tire iron in the Qualcomm parking lot to a Charger fan getting stabbed 5 times? in Oakland a few years back.

KC was the absolute worst place an opposing team could play earlier this decade, from the stadium looking like a complete bloodbath drenched in red to being fridged cold and still sold out in December.

I hope the AFC West gets back to true form, they get hardly any respect even though every team in it has made it to the playoffs multiple times since 2000 unlike other divisions.

I like what Oakland has done this year, aswell as Denver..
Hopefully both teams will get past .500 this year.

Red Sox and Yankees surpass Celtics and Lakers rivalries?
I do believe the Yankees/Red Sox as a single rivalry is the best in all of Sports, at least it isn't the Mutts

I think the NFL is great in that the two games with each team in the divisions. Training camp and some other chatter got me thinking

any thoughts on the top rivalries in the divisions

The two best in the NFC East, especially from a historical context to me are

Dallas vs. Washington
Philadelphia vs. NY Giants

but all division games seem to be special weeks, I think that is what is great about the NFL, and as someone said earlier ( I believe West) records don't always matter

I am not a Saints fan but I do believe they are the Champions of the NFL, so I believe they carry some clout.

^ You're right. Especially since the re-emergence of the Jets with Rex Ryan.

I'd place the AFC East right up there with the NFC East.

So they played against eachother 12 times in the Finals.
They account for 33 championships combined
Larry Bird and Magic Johnson are two of the three greatest players of all time.
And they just recently gave us the best Finals series of the last two decades.

Boston and NY have a regional rivalry..
LA and Boston are clear across the country from eachother. (opposite corners)
Yet, hold the same grudge as do the Yanks and Redsox.

People outside of New England dont know much about that rivalry.
How many times have they even faced eachother in the World Series?
Yet people from every generation and every decade see the Lakers and Celtics go at it.
Lakers/Celtics>Redsox/Yankees
