If I had to choose out of these cities, probably Kansas City. St. Louis is crime-ridden, Memphis is poor, and Fort Worth is too conservative. The overall package I think puts KC at the top.

My picks:

Top: Fort Worth, above and beyond any of the others

[HUGE DROP]

Second: Memphis. Love the history and "Southernness," hate the filth.

[HUGE DROP]

Third (tie): St. Louis and Kansas City. Neither interest me.

You love the history of Memphis but not St Louis? St Louis has more history than most cities in the US.

Kansas City is probably the best overall package of the four. A little bit too suburban-oriented for my tastes, but the city core is very good and makes up for a lot of that. It has something for almost anyone.
St. Louis is similar, but a bit bigger and laid out quite a bit differently. I'm pretty familiar with it, but it's just not my thing.
Memphis is the one I voted for because it's the one I'd live in if I only had these four to choose from. I just like it a lot, and I won't bother explaining myself.
None of these have my ideal weather, but Ft. Worth is by far the worst in that respect. If I lived there, I'd probably never leave my house, glued to my computer looking for jobs elsewhere.

I love Memphis, but St. Louis is a like a bigger & better version of Memphis IMO. That's what it feels like when I visit. He also said something in another topic about St. Louis people not being friendly (even though he's never been there) I actually find them to be just as friendly, if not more friendly than people in Memphis.

Not quite:

Dallas-Fort Worth leads nation in job growth | Dallas Business Journal

And just in case someone wants to say that all the job growth is coming from Dallas, this article has charts that break it down by metropolitan division (Fort Worth-Arlington) which shows that that is not the case.

I don't think you know much about Fort Worth.
