Malls are kind of a relic of the 70s and 80s at this point. People don't shop at malls half as much as they used to....they're kind of an afterthought.

It might be like that where you live but it's NOT like that in other cities with malls like South Coast Plaza, Mall of America, King of Prussia Mall, The Galleria, NorthPark Center, Lenox Square, etc.

Very true. Malls are still the primary shopping destinations in most of the Sunbelt. Nothing wrong with that.

I don't get that vibe from Houston. I actually think Houston has quite a bit of little quirky areas spread around the city. Any large city will have areas like the ones in Atlanta you listed. I can't think of any large cities that don't have those options.

The Galleria has a 60 story building adjacent to it nothing like transco tower
