Yes, its quite the comeuppance what happened to Enron. They crashed and burned even quicker than they rose. They burned so many of their own employees too. Just no conscience whatsoever.

Anyway, California is and has always been one of the most energy efficient states and our conservation efforts really paid off during the time when Enron AND DICK CHENEY, then VP, were saying it was California's own fault that these shortages were occurring.

We now know they were either wrong, or lying. What else is new.

Anyway, California ranks 48th when it comes to per capita electricity consumption.

Hm, I wonder why California is so low? Perhaps because many Californians choose not to use heating or air conditioning in their homes?

well it is not really known for its heat or its cold.

Socal especially is really mild for most of the year
