Nipsey hussle "got next" though. Even as a ny guy, i need that real west coast flavor in my life, its been too long. The industry better not papoose him

Did you hear Tear Gas?

Lol, not a bad choice choosing Big Pun for the Bronx. But I would've chosen Big L for Harlem.

This is a hard decision. Especially for someone like me. I was born on the West Coast in San Francisco, but I was also partially raised on the East in Maryland and NY. Here's my take. These are some of my favorite East Coast (New York) joints. None of these songs are less than classic.

But like I said before, I was born and raised in the Bay also...

I love Hip Hop. I'm going to say it's a tie. If you haven't experienced the vibe of life in both of these places, you won't fully understand one or the other.

good points, i like the beats dre put together - he changed the face of hip hop over there..

but compared to the greatness beyond Run DMC like Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, EPMD, BDP, PE, Wu-Tang, Mobb Deep, Gangstarr -

east coast is royalty
