Anyone who's lived in or traveled to both places want to share their comparative experiences?

Los Angeles is very spread over a large area. NYC is much more concentrated in a smaller area.

Manhattan and LA are completely different. I honestly can't think of any similarities.

Both are populated with bipedal, naturally aspirated hominids.

You can't compare LA and NYC cause they're completely different... LA is or was the entertainment capitol of the world... NYC is or was the financial capitol of the world... LA is huge but separated... NYC is not as big but is more concentrated... i like both areas but for different reasons... and seriously this is not original... people need to come up with better comparisons
