If you been driving in Houston city limits for along time then go down to Galveston it feels like a continues city?. (Psychology factor)

The same can be said if your in La and then go down to orange country or as far as San Diego? It seems like where ever you go there is allot of people. What La has over most city's is commercial stuff.. by far. When I think of Walkable-- commercial stuff comes up. (if that's work.. then that's work)

Bellevue equals Gunspoint?

Pass the crack pipe you found in the mall parking lot.

What's funnier is folks from Houston suggesting its downtown has an urban feel. As aforementioned, the lights go out at 6pm.

there you go again. I asked you where did anyone say it was more urban. no one did. so you are laughing at something no one said.

stop being silly.

you have no point

we said it is more urban in Seattle but feels much bigger in HOuston.

get over it. Seattle is tiny compared to Houston

In terms of skyline. Yep, they are the same or maybe Greenspoint is a little larger. Bellevue may be more equal to Westchase but definitely not as big as Uptown, TMC, or Greenway Plaza.

I would think Seattle, obviously. Population size doesn't necessarily make a city feel big. There are cities in Europe with like 200,000 that would probably blow Houston out of the water in terms of vibrancy and feeling urban.

Houston is one of the least urban big cities in America. Most of America's suburbs are more urban.

Its a nice place, but urban, it is not. In fairness, it has pockets of urbanity, but so does everywhere else.

Its dishonest to describe Houston as one of America's "Biggest" cities, with 40% of its metro population within its city limits taking up over 600 sq. miles, its not a very metropolitan city.

The socioeconomics of the two areas couldn't possibly be more different. As to the Skyline, Bellevue is dramatically more stunning.
