Now, Honest Tea has done a Candid Camera-like exercise in which its beverages were left unattended at various locations in seven major U.S. cities with a sign saying containers could be purchased on the honor system for $1. Video cameras secretly surveyed who took and who paid. In fact, most people did shell out $1. "I was surprised," Honest Tea president and "TeaEO" Seth Goldman tells me. Here's how cities ranked in what Goldman calls "a social experiment." Certainly not scientific but interesting:
I like how most people actually payed, it made me smile lol. I don't know about most honest, but I do think Boston is a really honest city, for no real reason, it's just always given me that feeling.
I'm not surprised Miami isn't up there with the other 7 cities. People in Miami probably stole the beverages and put some Mickey's in em lmao. Atleast New York is up there though .
