Yeah, I went to Paris and said "if DC were the size of New York, it would look like this. Washington monument - Eiffel tower, Capital - Invalidades, Siene- potomac, country capitol, tons of museums etc. Etc. Paris is definitely similar and Washington is definitely the little sister of the two.

Oh yeah, and I totally agree with the LA - Miami relationship. Miami has a better skyline and beach but it a little sister to LA, even if you count the whole metro to LA metro it's still not close
