I mean, for relatively large metros 1M and above in the US.

I know Logan is only 3 miles from downtown Boston and was voted "Easiest Airport to Get To".
San Diego Airport is about the same distance from downtown.

O'hare is 18 miles from downtown Chicago, and along one of the most busy freeways in the area. The Kennedy is always backed up, and handles around 300,000 cars a day in areas. I always tell people who say "we're in a rush, we're just going to take a cab" to not do it - take the train. Unless the Kennedy is free flowing, the L can get you from downtown to the airport in about 40 minutes, drops you off right under the terminals and save a ton of money.

Midway airport is about a 10 mile drive from downtown. It's around 25-30 minutes and very easy via the L train.

MIA is about 5 miles east of DT Miami and FLL is about 4 miles due south of DT Fort Lauderdale.

The one airport that seems to me to be really far from the city center is Denver.

Oakland's airport is about 10 miles from downtown Oakland.

I think San Diego is probably the most closest and most accessible as it's only a 5-15 minute cab ride/drive or bus ride from the terminal to downtown SD. Boston might be the same distance but its separated by the harbor.

San Diego and Las Vegas seem the closest and most accessible in my experience.

Not even close. Miami airport is 5-7 miles from downtown. Minneapolis' airport is around or over 10 miles from downtown Minneapolis, same as Midway in Chicago. O'Hare in Chicago is somewhere like 15-20 miles away from downtown, and I believe that's about the range for LAX to DTLA. SFO to downtown SF is something like 12-15 miles away, etc.

Logan is basically one stop on the Blue Line subway from the FIDI

though another bus is required to the terminal which is still pretty fast
