Some comparisons I'm curious about:

Which is more walkable?

Which is more urban?

Which has better food?

Which has better neighborhoods?

Which has better nightlife?

Thanks!

Cincinnati... and it keeps reinventing itself.. now especially through it's neighborhoods. It definitely has a lot going for it... they both do, but Cinci is a good several steps ahead.

Cincinnati for sure. Seems like Louisville is becoming more and more of a Nationally recognized city though.

Is Cincinatti better in all those categories, even nightlife?

Not sure about nightlife but Cincinnati is very walkable, very urban, great food, and over the rhine is cool.

Which has better neighborhoods? In the city, Louisville. Suburbs Cincy

Which has better nightlife? Haven't been out too much in Cincy, Louisville is pretty fun. I've had fun in both though.

Thanks!
This one is a tough one. They are both interesting cities I think. To be so close in proximity, they are two completely different cities.

I don't think you can say which one is better, they both are very different and excel in different areas.

cincinnati is 10+ years behind on urban development compared with some of the midwestern stars ... but the core assets of cincinnati, its architecture and urban form are better than any city off of the east coast except for san francisco. you gotta think about how cincinnati was a booming city when chicago was a cow town and how it was founded before the US bill of rights was ratified to really appreciate this.

lousville has done amazing things and has a rich and long history too. the combined city county government i think has been a big help. it is more convenient to hiking and nature than cincinnati and it's neighborhoods i think feel more prosperous. definitely a fine city in its own right.
